Optional demographic details (birth year, gender, citizenship, under-represented-in-medicine and first-generation status) are never required. If you choose to provide them, we use them only to personalize your match estimates — never for advertising — and you can remove them from your profile at any time. Some of these may be "sensitive personal information" under state law; we do not use or disclose them for any purpose other than providing the Service.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use our Service, including:

Browser type and version
Pages visited and time spent
Device information
IP address
Referring URLs

Content You Submit to AI Features

If you use AI-powered features (such as interview practice, personal statement feedback, or the advisor chat), the text you submit — and any responses you choose to record — is processed to generate feedback. This content is sent to our AI processing provider (see Section 5) solely to provide the feature to you.

Payments and Tutoring

Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. If you book tutoring, we process your name, email, and scheduling details, and create a video meeting through Zoom.

Generate match predictions and application analytics
Send account-related notifications
Improve our Service and user experience
Provide customer support
Process payments for premium features and tutoring services

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, if you opt in through our cookie banner, we use advertising and analytics tools (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google AdSense) that collect information about your visit.
